Early 16th century water source River Suir

Clairin Well has a historic significance going back centuries in Carrick on Suir and up to the early years of the last century was one of the principal sources of clean water in the town.

The Well is located on the Clonmel Road across from the Carrick-on-Suir Fire Station and Maurice Davin Park and Memorial.

From Carrick on Suir, it is on your left-hand side before your reach the Sean Healy Park and the Suirway Walk.
